Split systems are a common type of central air conditioner. With these systems an evaporator coil is located inside the home. The coil removes heat and moisture from the air. Outside of the house is a condenser coil which releases the heat, and the compressor, that pumps refregerant between the coils.
Packaged Air Conditioning Systems
Packaged air conditioning systems are also made up of outdoor and indoor components, but they combine the evaperator, condenser, and compressor into a single unit. The units are placed outside the home on a concrete slab or on the roof.
Ductless mini-split systems
This type of system can be a good choice for a home that does not have ductwork. Like a split system, the mini-split combines an outdoor compressor and condenser with and indoor air handling unit. These units are mounted high on the wall and have blowers attached. Units are installed in seperate rooms and will cool only that room.
Our AC Services
Making sure that you have the right size air conditioner for your home is extremely important. If the unit you purchase is too small, it will wind up working overtime and probably still won’t get your home to a comfortable temperature. On the other hand, an air conditioner that’s too big for your home will be cycling on and off constantly and can result in energy bills that are higher than necessary and higher humidity in your home.
We offer a full range of air conditioning services including installation, maintenance and repair.
Our staff and technicians are always available to answer any questions you may have and we’ll be glad to help you with all of your air conditioning needs. Just give us a call today to learn more about the air conditioning products and services we offer to customers.
